Many businesses take stock to assess and reflect on their recent milestones and achievements at the beginning of a new financial year, and Transtech is no different.
The 2012-2013 financial year was a hugely successful one for us, which incorporated everything from a fresh new website and increased web presence to new product launches and our participation in two of the transport industry’s biggest events.
Transtech’s year was big. We grew our team and outgrew our previous office. Late last year we moved to a larger premise to ensure we can continue to deliver industry-leading transport solutions while allowing the business to grow. Transtech welcomes the addition of new senior and junior developers, a business manager and a marketing and design co-ordinator.
Our new website is a one stop shop for all things Transtech, featuring a comprehensive list of our services and solutions as well as case studies, testimonials and a collection of the media coverage we have received in recent months.
To complement the launch of the website, we produced new marketing collateral based around a new design style for the company. Our clear, clean design is consistent with our website, and presents Transtech as a market leader. This included material like product datasheets, flyers through to email newsletters.
Throughout the year, we continued to establish Transtech as a leader in mobile solutions by informing the public and industry about our latest products and appearing at events to demonstrate products including our next-generation in-vehicle touch screen computer, the iFace.
In May, we took part in both the Victorian Transport Association’s annual conference and the Brisbane Truck Show, Australia’s premier event for the transport industry. At the VTA conference, Transtech CEO Shaun Owen presented alongside Scott Guthrie of Mt Noorat Freighters. The pair discussed the solutions Transtech has assisted Mt Noorat with – such as the iFace and Mass Manager – to ensure the business remains ahead of its competitors.
Our stand at the Brisbane Truck Show received an excellent response, and we were happy to demonstrate the iFace’s powerful capabilities to the many interested transport operators.
Overall, Transtech increased its sales and breadth of clients throughout the financial year. The iFace and our new apps, such as the recently released QuickJobs, have been extremely popular. We pride ourselves not only on our innovative transport solutions but also on our exceptional customer service, so it has been thrilling to hear our customers suggest we are years ahead of the competition.
Having released several new products over the past 12 months, we are already underway work a number of new development projects to be released in the near future. Our compliance management applications – such as the Mass Management and Vehicle Maintenance apps for the iFace and Mass Manager for NHVAS – have been received well by key media including Fully Loaded and Prime Mover Mag.
Over the next 12 months, we plan to continue our investments into research and development to continue to improve and enhance our products including the iFace and NextGen vehicle and fleet management system.
