Proof of Delivery: eProof™

eProof™ is Transtech’s electronic proof of delivery application. In real-time eProof tracks the delivery status of goods and electronically manages transactions. With eProof you always know where your deliveries stand. Gone are the problems of missed deliveries, lost inventory, and poor customer service.

How does it work?

eProof converts customer details from your ERP system into scheduled delivery trips. Trips are allocated to specific drivers with trip details transmitted to the drivers PDA. At the point of delivery the PDA is used to capture the recipient’s signature and confirm or alter the number of goods delivered. eProof allows an invoice/delivery docket to be instantaneously printed on site. Where payments are made, these can be entered directly into eProof (cash, cheque, credit card), with a receipt produced immediately. eProof communicates information in real time using GPRS with a server application in the organisations scheduling centre, allowing these transactions to be made visible at the office the moment they occur.

So how can eProof help?

Real time transaction information reduces the invoicing cycle and electronic signature capture improves proof of delivery access. Customer service representatives can sigh a breath a relief- no longer will they be required to sift through mountains of paperwork to find delivery information. With eProof it is possible to gain access to proof of delivery in a matter of seconds.

With schedulers empowered with real time information regarding the amount of stock volume remaining on the truck, late orders can be readily allocated, midway through trip, to the most appropriate driver. Cancelled orders are also no problem with eProof- schedulers can delete stops while the trip is in progress with assurance that the driver’s delivery manifest is updated immediately.

In the event of a non-delivery, eProof allows a reason to be recorded on the device to facilitate the completion of post-delivery management and reporting processes.

eProof can operate on a range of Pocket PC-based hand-held terminals and is compatible with a number of ERP systems including Oracle and SAP.

Furthermore, eProof has been designed to work as a stand-alone point of sale application, or as part of an integrated Transtech solution. eProof can seamlessly integrate with vehicle routing software Direct Route to optimise delivery schedules and ePlan, to forecast deliveries and improve delivery coordination.
