Prime Mover “Transtech forum a success”

13 October, 2015

Intelligent Access Program (IAP) provider Transtech has hailed its fifth annual ‘Am I Compliant’ forum a success. The forum was recently held in Wollongong, New South Wales.

According to Transtech, the forum included transport operators within the area and metro Sydney. Some of the keynote speakers included Gavin Hill (TCA), Michael Wills (RMS), Ian Pendered (Pentrans Consulting) and Tim Wedlock (AEI Commercial Insurance Brokers), with each presenting a range of topics from IAP and access in NSW to electronic work diaries (EWD), reasonable steps defence and mitigating risk.

“Compliance is everywhere you look in the industry. The idea we had at Transtech was to spread the wealth of knowledge within our team to bring together local operators and industry bodies together,” said Andrew Rossington, CEO of Transtech.

“The forums have been very popular. Wollongong proved to be very successful with a number of influential guest speakers. It’s very inspiring to see operators coming together to share ideas, successes and challenges.”

Launched in May 2014, Transtech’s Am I Compliant initiative is aimed at spreading the most up-to-date information regarding Compliance and Technology from a simple website. Following the website, a number of forums were hosted, starting from Melbourne in September 2014, before more forums were staged in regional New South Wales including Warrnambool, Mildura and Newcastle.
