Real-time fleet management - vTrack™

vTrack™ is the vehicle tracking component of Transtech’s next generation real-time fleet management and tracking system. It provides a greater span of information for management analysis and decision-making. It enables fleet managers to create the highest return from their fleet assets.

With vTrack you can track closely the status of vehicles, loads, trailers, manifests, con-notes and drivers. You can focus on assessing just one of these categories such as driver performance or link categories together to assess other performance issues. vTrack began as the first tracking system capable of integrating actual vehicle movements with delivery schedules and driver activities. Transtech’s pioneering fatigue management system was integrated into the driver activity tracking of vTrack. The next release of vTrack further expands its integration capability by tracking trailers, con-notes and route compliance, making vTrack the ultimate mobile asset management system that no fleet manager should be without. From one screen the fleet manager and schedulers will have access to real-time fatigue management status, IAP status, and the status of trucks, trailers, manifests, con-notes and drivers.

Information available with vTrack

A variety of information can be created from data captured on drivers, trucks, trips, trailers and con-notes. Meaningful exception reports can be generated on any combination of these data categories. For example, "What prime movers towed this trailer over the past three months? What was the total distance in kilometers travelled? What was its percentage utilisation? When is it due for its next preventative maintenance?" or "What fuel consumption did this truck have with driver A and how does it differ from the average fuel consumption from all other drivers over the same trip?"

tripMan

The optional tripMan module seamlessly integrates with your routing system to relate your delivery schedule to the trip in progress. With information including planned versus actual trip comparisons, estimated and actual arrival times for deliveries, current order status and product quantities remaining on delivery vehicle, your customer service team will always be well informed.
